About this tool, tips & examples
What it does
The Truth or Dare Generator supplies party prompts in four modes: classic truth questions, dare challenges, a mixed set, or “most likely to” style party questions. Generate one prompt at a time or a full game’s worth (up to 1,000), and reuse a seed to reprint the exact set. Everything stays fun and appropriate for general audiences.
Common use cases
- Party games — an inexhaustible prompt deck; no more repeating the same five questions (presets for truths, dares, mixed, and party sets).
- Icebreakers — truth questions double as get-to-know-you rounds for teams and classrooms.
- Sleepovers and gatherings — the classic, on any phone.
- Content and printables — export CSV and print prompt cards for an unplugged version.
Settings
- Question type — truths, dares, mixed, or party-game questions.
- How many — a single prompt or up to 1,000 for a printable deck.
- Seed — the same seed and type regenerate the identical set; change it for a fresh game.
Privacy note
Prompts are generated locally in your browser — your game and its answers never touch a server. The built-in prompts are kept crowd-friendly; house rules are your table’s business.
FAQ
Are the prompts safe for mixed groups? Yes — the pools are written to be fun without being mean or explicit, so the game works for families, classrooms, and offices.
How do we actually play? Circle up; each player picks truth or dare, you generate the prompt. The seeded batch mode deals a whole evening in advance if you’d rather not generate live.
More question games? Would You Rather generates dilemma questions, and the Magic 8-Ball handles the yes/no verdicts between rounds.
